I dont know why I waited so long to check this out but I recommend this being at the top of your list. Its not far from Phoenix, and its a rare activity to do in the late afternoon and night. They stay open until 10pm and will let you look through the MASSIVE telescopes and see some truly deep space objects. Its only 12 bucks per person, and it takes about 3 hours or so.
Looking into the smaller telescope that can still see incredibly deep into space.
The walkway to the massive telescope.
The massive telescope they had aimed a star 44 trillion miles away. You could see it amazing clearly!
